14A – Halfway Reflection

Tenaciousness is a competency. What are the behaviors that you have used (or developed) to keep up with the requirements of this course?  Time management and being aware of the time constraints that this class has, will help you be the most successful. Tenaciousness is also about attitude. Talk about a moment or two when you felt like "giving up." What pulled you through? Do you feel like you've developed a tenacious attitude during the past two months? What experience or experiences most contributed to this?  Yes, by accepting the amount of work that you will have to do and all the steps that go into posting, declaring, etc helped develop a tenacious and resilient attitude towards this class and in general. Three tips. What are three tips you would offer next semester's student about (1) fostering the skills that support tenacity and (2) developing the 'tenacious mindset' ? Don’t give up Work smarter not harder Time management

Reading Reflection

I read about an entrepreneur: It most surprised me that Elon musk once read 60 books in under a month. This fact is very indicative as to who he is as a person and how he values knowledge.  What about the entrepreneur did you most admire? Assignment 9A – Testing the Hypothesis, Part 2

Who: Through my interviews, I found out that there are groups of people that fall outside of my market. These individuals are people who seem to claim they have no mental illness and those who don’t think it is a concern. I interviewed several students at the University of Florida and one graduate.    Two interviewees are from high school that claimed that they look at the services provided on campus when deciding where to go to college.  I also found out that there is a market where I thought there wouldn’t be. This market is for younger students perusing college. I interviewed two high school   students, in their senior year, and they both said that they were going to take into account the mental health care when picking their schools, and that if a university were to have a combined mental and physical health program that it would be great. Interviewee number two said that the Counseling and Wellness Center made her wait until February for an ap...
