  1. Hey Caroline, I think that your stories are very cool and I think that they answer the prompt very well. The story about Chick-Fil-A is very interesting because it is going to be interesting to see the economic outcome of it closing its doors for a bit. I am curious if it will pick up the business for other restaurants nearby or if it will not affect them at all.

  2. Hi Caroline,

I believe your fourth problem of the teacher with inappropriate contact with the children they teach is one of the most disturbing stories I've heard recently, but also one of the most preventable. I think that school administrators and school board officials become too comfortable with teachers and other school staff to the point that they either turn a blind eye to behavior such as this, or they start on the staff's side when really they should be looking out for the children first and foremost.

  3. Hello Caroline, you picked some great articles. I found your first one about the government shutdown to be very interesting but also worrying. It is definitely terrible that government workers are being denied salary, and it's simply unacceptable. Employed workers should never have to rely on food banks and charity to eat. However, I would disagree that the shutdown is an opportunity, as I think it's more just something that is a bad situation. Overall, great post.
